Ronda Rousey is no Mike Tyson

(StopMasturbationNOW)—Lately there have been a lot of camparisons drawn between Ronda Rousey and Mike Tyson. Ronda Rousey is the current  UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion where she is an undefeated 11-o. She wins most of her wins by submission and most fights have been finished within minutes.  Mike Tyson had a similar run in the day. He won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, 12 of them in the first round.

People have been drawn to compare them, their records, and level of dominance. However we see no comparison. When you watch Rousey, you are impressed, but do you honestly think there is no woman at any weight that she could not beat? No, there are even women in upper weight classes she wont fight. And somewhere some place there is some East German woman who you know would beat her like Chris Brown would.  However when we watched Mike Tyson in his day, you wondered whether there was anyone on the planet, regardless of specialty, gender, or weight that could take a mike Tyson punch. Tyson could land a punch that would take a Professional heavyweight boxer off of his feet and back three more.

Ronda Rousey might make for an entertaining evening for Jada Pickett Smith and her daughter, but she is as close to Mike Tyson as the WNBA is to a real sport.
